Four Seasons Bali At Sayan is definitely one of the most beautiful resorts of Ubud area and a personal favorite of mine.
I actually discovered this resort when I had dinner at the restaurant Sayan House. From our table, we had an amazing jungle view (picture below) and we could notice this gorgeous hotel surrounded by greenery.
The staff here is extremely professional and welcoming and you wouldn’t expect less from a Four Season! You can have your own private pool just in front of your room with a view on the jungle. Breakfast can be served directly in your pool!
The hotel rooms are large and nicely decorated and you will notice that they use a lot of natural materials like wood and bamboo.

2. Aksari Resort Ubud
Aksari Resort Ubud is the ideal resort for honeymooners who want to spend an intimate experience surrounded by Nature! It’s close to Tegalalang rice fields so you will be able to visit this popular spot in no time.
The best feature of this resort is probably the outdoor swimming pools that offer amazing views and endless photo opportunities. There’s even a jacuzzi!
The food is also great and diverse, from international cuisine to local balinese delicacies, there’s something for everyone. You MUST try their coconut mojito!

3. Kaamala Resort Ubud
The Kaamala Resort Ubud will give you the escape experience you are looking for without being far away from Ubud Central. It’s actually few minutes away from the monkey forest!
The resort is literally surrounded by beautiful rice fields so you will be able to enjoy lovely views wherever you are. Make sure you go for a tanning session at their infinity pool area.
Another thing we love here is that their suites are well equipped with a private pool and sophisticated. The suites are also quite independent. It’s like having your own private villa but with the services you can expect from a luxury resorts.
A last thing to note is that Kaamala offers various spa treatments in Svaha Spa Bisma that lies on a cliff overlooking Ubud jungle and river. You’ve got to try it!

4. Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
The Mandapa is part of the popular luxury brand Ritz Carlton and it is located in the North-West side of Ubud. Lost in the Nature, the setting here is absolutely mesmerising!
If you are looking to spend your honey moon in Bali, this hotel will be a perfect choice.
In addition to the jungle view, you will be able to enjoy the view on a local river that flows just next to the hotel. The sound of the water flowing is so relaxing and pleasing!

5. Chapung Sebali
The Chapung Sebali is one our favourite in this list! It’s located at around 7km North from Ubud centre so it’s not too far from the city but it’s still remote enough to feel relaxed.
This hotel doesn’t really offer rooms but suites or villas. So if you are traveling with your family or with a group of friends, this is the right option.
But what I like the most in this hotel is the bar area around the beautiful swimming pool (picture above). This bar is called the Jungle Fish and I spent so many afternoons here!
The atmosphere is so good here, they play deep house music all day and the food is delicious. May I suggest their tuna poke ball, a real delight!

6. Viceroy Bali
The Viceroy is a safe bet if you are looking for a luxury resort in Ubud! It’s located in the North East of Ubud and the hotel provide a free shuttle bus to the city center if you need.
They offer gorgeous villas with private pool and a big terrace.
As this resort is located high in the mountains, you will have an awesome panoramic view on your surroundings, specially from the pool area (picture below).
If you want to work out from time to time, the Viceroy has a very good gym that is available for free to all the hotel guests.

7. Capella Ubud
The Capella Ubud is a relatively new resort but it’s already one of the top picks of the area! Opened in mid-2018, it stands out for its interior architecture which mixes colonial style and traditional Balinese touches.
Located in Keliki valley, you will be surrounded by a wild Nature absolutely gorgeous.
The hotel offers two on-site restaurants, Mad’s Lounge and Api Jiwa. It offers gourmet Asian dishes that you will tell us about! To stay in the “Vintage” theme, the Capella organises movie nights to watch old classics outside, around a campfire.

8. The Kayon Jungle Resort
As you may have guessed, this resort is surrounded by a lovely tropical jungle.
The highlight of the Kayon Jungle Resort is probably its huge multi-level pool that offers an awesome view. This is definitely THE Instagram spot of the resort!
